Pricing Rationale:

An average Mezuza is the result of approx. 2-3 hours of skilled and exacting work!  (5 times that for Tfillin)

The smaller the Mezuza, the harder it is to write.  This results in a problem for you, as small mezuzas are expected to be cheaper.

However, the Sofer would like to be paid for the extra effort involved......and therefore writes faster and sometimes sloppily!

Since in most cases the buyer gravitates toward the smaller Mezuza for the lower price-the sofer is pressured to give you less than you deserve for your good money...

Therefore, we make extra effort to provide you with equal prices for all sizes-so that your only consideration should be the actual quality (if size isn't an issue)
