The mezuzah scroll/parchment can be put into the case of your choice.
Our parchments meets the highest standards of Halacha. The Mezuzah
parchment is placed in a special case and hung on the right side of the
doorpost as one enters. It is customary to kiss the mezuzah as one
passes through the door to demonstrate that we are recalling the Shema
which is written inside the Mezuzah parchment. The Shema is a
chapter which we recite every day to remember the greatness of God and
his taking the Jewish people out of Egypt, and following all his
commandments will lead to reward.
